A “panel of culinary experts” has ranked two Fairfield County locales for having some of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine in the state.

Here are the top-rated Fairfield County establishments:

  • Lebanese Cuisine, Bethel: Located at 23 Stony Hill Road, Lebanese Cuisine is a family-owned gem featuring authentic and affordable cuisine. Sandwiches start at just $7, and chicken, beef and lamb schwarma and kebab platters are popular as well. Traditional sides include hummus, falafel balls, spinach pie, baba ghanouj and more.

Lebanese Cuisine has garnered a 4.7/5 star ranking on Facebook, and with upwards of 200 ratings, reviewers have plenty of positive feedback.
